The R5 TEC Regulator Set from Tecline (by Scubatech) offers excellent levels of performance and quality at an affordable price.

The R5 TEC first stage regulator is a high quality product made from maritime brass with a classy-looking black finish. Each regulator has:

a 300 bar DIN fitting
4 LP ports
2 HP ports
Proflex hose black ~ 70cm

R5 TEC first stages have 2 LP ports and 1 HP port positioned on each of two opposing sides. This versatile configuration allows hoses to be routed down each side of the wing when diving with twin sets, or crossed over if required. It features a balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber to prevent freezing in extreme cold conditions. Having the protection of the cold kit environmental seal is also preferable for diving in heavily silted water.

The R5 TEC second stage regulator is a pneumatically balanced downstream regulator with both Venturi and breathing resistance adjustments. A heat exchanger allows operation in cold water by dramatically reducing the risk of icing. The R5 TEC second stage has a low breathing resistance, in the range of 0.983 - 1.004 J/L (see tips), which reduces breathing effort and helps to minimise air consumption - this level of performance is just one of the benefits that you get from a world-class regulator.

Tecline R5 TEC regulators are CE certified and tested to the requirements of EN:250. Not only are they laboratory tested, they also undergo extensive trials in punishing environmental conditions from icy Polish lakes and caves to tropical waters (ok, the last location is not quite so punishing!). After assembly and tuning, all regulators are tested by two independent technicians, to ensure that they meet Tecline's exacting standards for performance and quality.

Perth Scuba will ship the next business day to anywhere in Australia. Where a product is not in stock, the purchaser will be notified on the next business day of an approximate delivery date.

Generally orders will be sent by Australia Post or Couriers Please and it is recommended that you purchase additional insurance for your items as once they are dispatched they can be tracked to your doorstep.

Perth Scuba shipping is subject our carriers shipping conditions. If you prefer to use an alternate shipping company – please notify us at the time of placing your order (select in-store pick-up).

Shipping Options

Australia Post – standard 3-10 days within Australia

Australia Express Post – A tracking number will be provided on dispatch by email. Guaranteed next day delivery after dispatch only within the Express Post network. For example Perth metro area = next business day delivery, other metro area = 2 – 3 business days, outside metro area 2 – 5 business days

DHL Express – A tracking number will be provided on dispatch

In-Store Pick-up – Select this option to pay in full online and then collect from our store located at Unit 4/180 Bannister Road, Canning Vale WA 6155. We’re open 7 days a week from 9:00am – 5:00pm except Public Holidays. Perth Scuba will advise by email when your order is ready for collection

Perth Scuba accepts no liability for consequential loss or damage where postage selected by the customer does not include insurance or tracking.

Order Acceptance / Confirmation

Once we receive your order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation, however, does not signify Perth Scuba’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. Perth Scuba reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If Perth Scuba cancels an order after you have already been billed, Perth Scuba will refund the billed amount.

Returns Policy

Refund Policy (General)

Perth Scuba will not issue a refund if you simply change your mind about something you bought, we will however, offer you a store credit to the value of the purchase price. The item must be returned in an as new sale-able condition along with the original purchase receipt.
Refunds will be offered in instances where it is agreed that a new item is faulty and cannot be repaired and at the discretion of Perth Scuba management. Every effort will be made to ensure any merchandise required to be returned to a manufacturer as fast as possible, so it can be returned to the original purchaser in the shortest possible time-frame.

Returns (online purchases)

It is your responsibility to notify Perth Scuba as soon as possible if the item purchased is not suitable or if it has been damaged in transit.
Perth Scuba will take all possible care in packing to ensure minimal movement within the package during shipping.
Refunds will only be processed upon receipt of the items in an as new saleable condition. Returns are to be sent at the cost of the returning party unless agreed by Perth Scuba prior to return item being sent. Perth Scuba reserves the right to reduce the amount refunded for damaged packaging where it left the store in new condition.
