Galapagos is one of the most exciting destinations in the world. Guests will have the opportunity to dive with playful Sea Lions, travel to the famous Darwin and Wolf for thrilling diving to see Hammerhead Sharks, Whale Sharks, clouds of Tuna and much more on their Galapagos Islands liveaboard scuba diving trip. The scenic view of the Darwin Arch is as picturesque as you can imagine. The GALAPAGOS AGGRESSOR® liveaboard departs from Baltra every Thursday afternoon.
In 2016, Ecuador created a marine sanctuary in the area of Darwin and Wolf that includes 15,000 square miles as off limits to all fishing to conserve the sharks that congregate there and the ecosystem on which they rely. 32% of the waters around the Galapagos islands will now be protected from fishing.
Our goal is to provide you with the ultimate Galapagos Islands liveaboard scuba diving experience. The GALAPAGOS AGGRESSOR® offers a brand new itinerary in compliance with the Galapagos National Park regulations which requires companies with permits to follow the exact itinerary below. A maximum of four dives will be offered daily; two in the morning and two in the afternoon. In addition, two night dives and two land excursions per week will be offered.

DIVING
The Master the Galápagos 7 night liveaboard itinerary visits many of the best scuba diving areas of the Galápagos Islands. The Galápagos are an Ecuadorian archipelago of volcanic islands straddling the equator about 970 km west of continental Ecuador. They are also a UNESCO World Heritage site, an official Ecuadorian province, an Ecuadorian National Park as well as a biological marine reserve. In addition to being home to a variety of endemic, land-based wildlife, the Galápagos Islands are renowned for amazing shark diving with the chance to encounter silky sharks, the famous Galápagos shark and an abundance of schooling hammerheads. Few people are granted the opportunity of diving these pristine waters and no place on Earth will boast such a variety of underwater sightings.
Diving conditions at many of the locations covered on this itinerary can be challenging, even for experienced divers. Depths, strong currents and reduced visibility at certain sites mean they are not suitable for entry-level divers or those who have not dived in similar conditions before. This itinerary involves some long-distance and overnight cruising. While we endeavour to ensure the number of scheduled dives is fulfilled, sea conditions and other factors can impact the number of dives possible. On most days, your Cruise Director will schedule up to 4 dives - 2 morning dives and, where possible, 2 afternoon dives. For safety reasons, there are no night dives.
Day 1 - Embarkation
Embarkation is between 14:00 and 14:30, followed by introductions, boat and safety briefings and lunch. There will usually be a shallow check dive scheduled in the afternoon followed by dinner and overnight cruising to Baltra.
Day 2 - Baltra & North Seymour
Days 3-5 Wolf & Darwin
3 days diving around Wolf and Darwin Islands, typically scheduled as follows:
*Dives are conducted back-to-back before and after lunch, with a surface interval of 1-1 ½ hrs between the two dives. All guests remain on the dive deck in their wetsuits and will be offered snacks and refreshments.
Day 6 - Fernandina & Isabela
Up to 4 dives
Day 7 - Cousins Rock & Santa Cruz
Day 8 - Disembarkation
If you have a few hours to fill before your transfer to San Cristóbal Airport, you can visit the Interpretation Center, which is a 10-minute walk from the pier, do some last-minute shopping, or relax in a local cafe.
