Jervoise Bay Dog Beach Club Dive
Wednesday 25 October 2026
19 divers turned up for the club dive this Sunday morning. After a bit of discussion we decided to head to Jervoise Bay Dog Beach, an underrated spot with lots of parking and public amenities as well. We kitted up and headed down the beach.
Jervoise Bay has a long groyne stretching out a few hundred meters out into the ocean. You will find lots of the usual suspects here including seahorses and cuttlefish. About 100m out, you will find an amazing soft coral garden which has grown bigger as the years pass. The visibility was 1 m at best due to the southerly winds, but divers were happy to be in the water and several came back with lovely photos of the critters that inhabit our wonderful Western Australian coast.
Everyone is looking forward to the weather warming up and those easterly winds which bring calmer waters and good visibility. Hope you will join us soon!Â
