With the southerly winds we took the club dive to North Mole Fremantle. The swell smashed the rocks behind us so entry was nice and calm. The 6 of us made our way down the rocks into the water.

The ex BHP Bulk Jetty turned out to be an amazing venue this Wednesday night and largely thanks to the swell predictions being complete bollox, again ! Being just one day after a full moon, the spring low tide created shallow knee to waist deep water nearly all the way out to the hanging-ladder.
Most people would imagine that the best time to dive in Perth is summer. Whilst this is a fairly good assumption because it is always warm and the sky is clear, this is not always the case. Being in a “temperate” zone we can enjoy great conditions all year round, albeit at some times of year it may be a bit cooler.
