Well, we thought we had a window…

Sunday morning was expected to be the calm before the storm…and with 20m viz reported at the wreck trail, we decided it was worth the risk.

Alas, the window closed far earlier than expected and we arrived at Rockingham to rolling surf and pouring rain. We had four new divers on the roster and it was decided to relocate to the river.

Visibility at at Blackwall Reach was surprisingly good and we followed the lines for forty minutes or so, spotting all sorts of life, even a sea horse.

Even managed to make a cuppa between downpours…
