A fantastic Sunday Manta Club Dive at Woodman Point saw 21 divers hit the water after a classic Perth Scuba start—snags, laughs and a solid briefing. With plenty of marine life on show, including the ever-popular seahorses, “Woodies” delivered another great day of local diving. The session wrapped up the way all good club dives do—hot drinks, stories and happy divers… even if the manta ray made a cheeky appearance just after everyone left!

Calm conditions above and below the surface made for an easy, enjoyable dive as divers explored one of Perth’s favourite shore sites. From familiar faces catching up to new friendships forming underwater, the day captured what Manta Club is all about—bringing together passionate divers of all levels to share unforgettable experiences. Another cracking Manta Club Night Dive on Wednesday 8 April 2026! A big thanks to everyone who joined us, and to Al Day for keeping the crew fuelled with cookies 🍪

It was a special night with several divers taking on their very first night dive—always a milestone worth celebrating 👏

The ocean delivered, with sightings of carpet sharks, eels, stingrays, sea hares, nudibranchs, hermit crabs and plenty more hidden treasures that only come out after dark.

Even from the surface, it was a great reminder that every dive is a learning experience—secure your gear, check your torch, and always keep those DINs close!
