Jervoise Bay Sunday Manta Club Dive – 1 March 2026 | Perth Shore Diving Report
Despite a forecast predicting 2m swell along the Perth coast, 26 keen divers rolled the dice and headed to Jervoise Bay for our Sunday Manta Club shore dive — and it paid off! Conditions were far calmer than expected, with relatively smooth water and light rolling surf in Fremantle. Visibility may have been average, but spirits were high as everyone enjoyed a social scuba dive at one of Perth’s most reliable shore diving locations.
This community club dive was all about getting wet, staying active and making the most of WA diving conditions. A special highlight was celebrating Lola Jane’s birthday post-dive — complete with cake, dive stories and plenty of laughs on the beach.
Jervoise Bay continues to be a favourite for Perth scuba divers looking for accessible shore diving, marine life encounters and great dive buddies. We’re looking forward to calmer seas this week — see you at the Omeo wreck night dive!
Perth Scuba’s Manta Club returned to Woodman Point for an incredible night dive under calm skies and 10m visibility. With octopus, cuttlefish and even a bobtail squid making an appearance, the site truly came alive after dark in classic Perth diving style.
With strong winds and swell forecast, this week’s Manta Club Sunday dive headed somewhere a little different – the Rockingham Wreck Trail.
A great group turned up keen to get wet, but what looked promising on the surface quickly turned into 1m visibility and plenty of jellyfish. A few divers completed the trail, but overall it wasn’t our best conditions-wise.
Still, we got in the water, shared a laugh, and we’ll be back next week hoping for clearer seas and better vis. Thanks to everyone who came along!
Another great summers day in Perth and a lot of other people thought so too. 42 people turned up for their underwater fix , from instructors to, fresh of the boat, open water divers looking to kick start there underwater adventures.
