Chilly dive with four intrepid explorers
Sue's Groyne Club Night Dive
Wednesday 26 June 2025
It was Brrrrrrisk last night! Still four intrepid souls ventured into the freezing car park at Sue’s Groyne for our Wednesday night dive.
Unable to endure the freezing surface temperatures for long, they retreated to the relatively warmer water instead and spent an hour hunting along the Groyne. Cuttlefish, squid, bullseye schools were spotted and much debate ensued over a scorpionfish/Lionfish spotting.
Another revelation made is that enamel mugs filled with hot coffee are very effective hand warmers….
We’re past Winter Solstice, that means we are on the downwards slope to Autumn…stay warm and we’ll see you on Sunday!
