Who says winter is for staying indoors ! Certainly not this crew ! Eighteen divers turned up ready to hit the water, proving that a little cold weather is no match for a passion for diving !
The morning started at Perth Scuba HQ with a classic sausage sizzle before the dive briefing.
The conditions were fantastic, with calm seas, brilliant visibility, and a cool 16°C. Once underwater we were rewarded with plenty of curious occies, two beautiful cuttlefish, colourful nudibranchs, seahorses and one of the day's highlights - the unmistakable sounds of dolphins echoing through the water. We never caught sight of them, but hearing them was pretty special.
One takeaway from today's dive: always check your GoPro before leaving home - especially that the SD card is in it ! Unfortunately, I learnt that lesson the hard way, so there are no photos from me this time. I guess some dives are just meant to live on in our memories.
Safe diving and Happy bubbles.

Cheers
