Manta Club Dive | Kwinana Grain Terminal
Sunday 9 August 2026
After a night of wild weather and many of us questioning whether it was worth getting up, it turned out the answer was a resounding YES!
The forecasts predicted a break in the winter weather — and that’s exactly what we got. The sun came out, and eleven divers turned up ready to enjoy the morning.
Whether it was to progress their dive journey, keep their skills fresh for those exotic (warmer!) holidays, or simply cruise around and enjoy the amazing underwater world, everyone had their own reason for getting in the water.
While the visibility wasn’t at its best after the storms, a great dive was had by all. Cuttlefish, nudibranchs, seahorses and the usual amazing array of critters were spotted, with many divers even organising to head back in for a second dive!
So, a big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Manta Club. It was great to see so many of you making the most of the break in the weather.
