Manta Club Dive | Seahorses at Woodman Point
Sunday 16 August 2026
Seahorses were the goal—and we achieved it!
The sunshine brought everyone out, with 24 divers joining us for breakfast at Perth Scuba before heading to Woodman Point for our latest Manta Club dive.
Calm conditions made Woodman Point an ideal location for the morning, so we set off in search of seahorses. Our efforts certainly paid off, with lots of seahorses spotted throughout the dive, along with several colourful nudibranchs and even a cuttlefish.
There was no sign of our resident decorator crab, who is usually found lurking beneath a rock near the beginning of the dive. We’re sure he’s still out there somewhere and will hopefully make another appearance soon.
With calm water, plenty of marine life and a great group of divers, it was an excellent morning underwater—and hopefully a sign that warmer, sunnier days are on their way!
Thanks to everyone who joined us for another fantastic Perth Scuba Manta Club dive.
