Mermaid II Komodo Liveaboard Dive Tour | A Week to Remember
Mermaid II Komodo Liveaboard Dive Tour | A Week to Remember
6 - 13 June 2026
After seven incredible days exploring the world-famous Komodo Islands aboard Mermaid II, our adventure has sadly come to an end. But what a journey it has been.
Over the past week, we have experienced everything that makes Komodo one of the world's premier diving destinations. From spectacular coral reefs and crystal-clear waters to thrilling drift dives and unforgettable marine life encounters, every day brought something new to discover.
We were treated to incredible sightings throughout the trip, including graceful manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays, schools of trevally and barracuda, colourful reef fish, and countless fascinating macro creatures hidden among the reefs. Whether diving the vibrant walls of Batu Moncho, the exhilarating currents of Crystal Rock, or the iconic sites that have made Komodo famous, every dive reminded us why this destination sits firmly on so many bucket lists.
Of course, a liveaboard trip is about much more than the diving. It is about the friendships formed, the stories shared over meals, the laughter between dives, and the excitement of never quite knowing what the next descent will reveal. It has been an absolute pleasure to share these experiences with such a wonderful group of divers.
A special thank you must go to the outstanding crew of Mermaid II, whose professionalism, hospitality, and dedication ensured that every aspect of the trip ran smoothly. Their passion and hard work made us feel at home from the moment we stepped aboard.
As Tour Leader, I would like to thank everyone who joined me on this unforgettable adventure. Your enthusiasm, camaraderie, and love of diving made this trip truly special. While our time in Komodo may have come to an end, the memories we have created together will last a lifetime.
Until the next adventure, safe travels everyone, and thank you for being part of another amazing Perth Scuba dive tour.
See you underwater.
