Palm Beach Jetty Manta Club Night Dive
Palm Beach Jetty Manta Club Night Dive
Wednesday 11 March 2026
A huge thank you to everyone who joined the Perth Scuba Manta Club night dive at Palm Beach Jetty. The group was a little smaller than usual with the Ocean Film Festival on, but it was great to see those who made it down for a relaxed evening dive together.
As the sun started to set and everyone gathered at the site, the usual predive routine began with gear checks, torches being tested and the dive briefing. There is always a great atmosphere before a night dive. As the light fades there is that shared excitement while everyone gets ready to explore the underwater world after dark.
Entry conditions were calm and comfortable which made for a nice easy start to the dive. Once underwater, our lights lit up the jetty pylons and the site slowly came to life. Fish darted through the torch beams and the structure of the jetty created plenty of interesting areas to explore. Night diving always gives a completely different view of a familiar site and Palm Beach Jetty definitely delivered.
After the dive it was great to gather back on shore and chat about what everyone had seen. Even with a smaller group there were plenty of smiles, laughs and stories being shared from the dive. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone’s photos from the night.
Thanks again to everyone who came along and supported the dive. The enthusiasm and community spirit are what make these club dives so enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next Perth Scuba Manta Club dive.
