Jervoise Bay Sunday Manta Club Dive
Jervoise Bay Sunday Manta Club Dive
Sunday 15 March 2026
26 keen divers met up at Perth Scuba this morning and were met with the smell of sizzling sausages lovingly cooked by our own chef. We then excitedly made our way to Ammo Jetty and the weather forecast was perfect with south easterly winds and low swell.
Well the universe had other plans for us, with the big car park at Ammo closed for construction. A quick decision had to be made and I redirected everyone to Jervoise Bay dog beach. Thank you to my traffic control team who made sure everyone knew where to go next.
A few minutes later we arrived at the second venue and everyone kitted up, quite excited as this isn’t really a well known diving spot. It didn’t disappoint. The critters were out to play with divers spotting seahorses, fingered dragonets, octopuses, cuttlefish and a lovely masked stingaree hiding in a small cave. The soft corals are just beautiful at this dive site!
After the dive we were treated to freshly brewed coffee by our own barista Al, amid lots of happy chatter.
We look forward to seeing you all at our next club dive on Wednesday!
