Over the past two weeks, Divemasters Zara Edmond, Leo Chong, and Michael Li have taken the next big step in their professional diving careers, beginning their journey to become PADI Scuba Instructors under the guidance of Course Director Braedon Curd, with invaluable support from IDC Staff Instructor Kayla Goodchild.
The Instructor Development Course is designed to challenge candidates, and these three were certainly put through their paces. Through the highs, the lows, and plenty of hard work, they persevered and emerged ready to take on the PADI Instructor Examination.
This past weekend, Leo and Michael completed their Instructor Examinations in Perth, while Zara is set to complete hers in Cairns in the coming weeks.
We are thrilled to announce that Leo Chong and Michael Li have successfully passed their examinations and are now officially PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors!
Congratulations on this incredible achievement. Your dedication, professionalism, and passion for diving have paid off, and we couldn't be prouder.
A huge thank you also goes to IDC Staff Instructor Kayla Goodchild for her support, mentorship, and assistance throughout the course. The success of our candidates is always a team effort, and Kayla played an important role in helping guide them through the program.
