Bulk Jetty (BHP Jetty) Club Night Dive

What a great Wednesday night Club Dive.  21 divers made it into the water at Bulk Jetty in Kwinana just after 7 pm under the setting sun. 

Visibility was normal for Bulk but there was still plenty to see. Whilst I was delighted with the Seahorses and plentiful Nudibranchs, many reported some good sized rays amongst the pylons. 

All in all everyone had a great night both in and out of the water. 

There were new and old faces, and some tackling their first night dive. What a great safe way to meet other divers and tackle new challenges by coming along to our free Wednesday night or Sunday morning club dives. I look forward to catching up with you all again at future dives.

Port Beach Club Dive

Thank you to everyone that came to the Perth Scuba club dive.  We met at the shop for breakfast then headed to Port Beach in the hunt for the elusive and rare weedy sea dragons. Visibility was about 4-5 meters with only one weedy sea dragon and a couple of rays seen.

Sue's Groyne Club Night Dive

Once again, a great turnout for our night dive at Sue’s Groyne in North Coogee. Despite the wind conditions, this dive site is protected and is a great spot when the rest of Perth is challenging to dive.

Point Peron club dive

Perfect weather with great conditions saw us heading to Point Peron for a rare visit. After our traditional sausage sizzle at shop we headed off to have a really fun dive, with awesome vis, lots of swim throughs and some underwater critters to see. Thanks for coming all!

Rockingham Wreck Trail night dive

Thank you to the 8 divers that came to the Perth Scuba night dive at Rockingham Wreck Trail.  We met on the grass for the brief then headed to the water to start our dive. The water was relatively calm with very little current. Visibility was good at the shallower wrecks with about 3-4m but got worse at the deeper ones with only 1-2m. There lionfish, stonefish, seahorses and plenty of other marine life seen.  Thank you to Phil for the photos.
